Experimental schools in Greece were established under the supervision of Universities and have been the cradle of eminent intellectuals in the field of literature, politics and science and nests of innovation and pioneering ideas ever since. Experimental schools aim at helping in educational research, and experimentation with new teaching techniques as well as providing first hand teaching practice to undergraduate students.
