Yonatan Middle School was founded 1988 in Ra’anana, Israel. The school has over 400 hundred students.

The main goals of the school are:
a. Fostering engaged and curious students,
b. Promoting social skills and personal development in students,
c. Providing essential tools and strategies for learning, research, organization and time management.

These goals are reached through different activities and frameworks at the school.

The school’s policy acknowledges that a school is not only a place to gain knowledge but rather a place to develop learning skills, values, and social skills. It also puts a special emphasis on acceptance towards all and promotes learning based on personal strengths and weaknesses. Another key point in the policy is the dialogue between students and staff as a key for beneficial learning and advancement at the school.
