The school is leading a unique breakthrough approach of "empathetic pedagogy" that allows each and every student a chance for growth and development. "Empathetic Pedagogy" has three main pillars- experience, authenticity and identity development. Those pillars are applied to every interaction: interpersonal communication, learning, and responsibility to the community and environment.
One of the main programs in the school - "Gam Ani Ki Echpat LI" (me too, because I care), teaches students leadership and and works towards change in society and the environment. During the three years of the program, social engagement gradually expands into wider circles. The program won a national prize for promoting social engagment and a new approach to education.
Rimon middle school was chosen by the Davidson Institute, the Ministry of Education and Ra'anana Municipality to lead computerized and technology-based learning. Every student at the school has a laptop, a tool used to optimize the learning experience for students in the 21st century. The school promotes new age learning that teaches values as well as allows students to develop authentic identities.
The school offers a wide variety of programs that offer students the best environment for growth and self-expression in fields such as arts, music, sports, science, technology and leadership.
