CED Nossa Senhora da Conceição - Casa Pia de Lisboa

The CED Nossa Senhora da Conceição - Casa Pia de Lisboa (CED NSC), located in the center of Lisbon, develops its action through the education of students from pre-school to the third cycle of basic education (3 to 15 years old). At present, 464 children and teenagers and 55 teachers are part of the educational community, distributed by all the disciplinary groups.
 The mission of CED NSC is to promote the rights and protection of children and young people at risk, building inclusive learning paths, forming autonomous, supportive and responsible citizens in a society open to the world. It is part of the Associated Schools Network of UNESCO and since 2017 has been awarded the Blue School Award. From its new pedagogical model that privileges the project work, it develops a very diversified set of curricular activities, extra-curriculare and curricular complement, either in the form of Clubs or in activities developed in its thematic spaces (Studios).
Under the motto "from success to excellence: to include, innovate, grow and walk", CED NSC privileges in its strategic vectors the precocity of socio-educational intervention, the construction of differentiated educational pathways, quality and innovation along with the promotion of family involvement in the CED, through co-responsibility.
