Pupils often have little affection for art and culture. Through a combination of subjects (territorial,
history, French and visual education, technology) and cooperation with the Rijksmuseum Enschede, we try to inspire
the pupils to become enthusiastic. A variety of work methods, personalised and inquisitive learning
enables pupils to be activated. The pupils go into the life of Monet, his works and various places where
he has been. Groups will give a presentation about 1 of the facets of the life and works of Monet. In
addition, they make a painting in the state museum and the presentations will also be held there, for
parents and other interested parties.

Students are approached on different skills. Get outside the school and learn to look at art and culture
in a different way.

Placed: The diversity of work methods gives the pupils space and ensures that there is a connection to this
topic.

Purposeful: Pupils make it themselves, are free in the direction they choose.

Passion-led: Students learn to look at art in a different way. Because they are also working on it themselves, they
become enthusiastic.

Pervasive: The work and visits to the Rijksmuseum and the presentations there impress the students, they will not
forget this.

RRI principles

Governance: Students have to work out the assignments in groups.

Engagement: Responsibility lies more with school, but the Rijksmuseum also has a share.

Gender equality: Students all have their own role and are approached at their own talent level.

Education for responsible citizenship: Its everyone's responsibilty to keep and preserve our cultural heritage.

Ethics: Apreciation and conservation of our cultural heritage.

Open Access: Contacts with the museum should be made, but other than that the project is open to everyone.
