Our brains are the centers of our individual universes. It is in charge of all the things we go through our lives: The way we fall in love, the reason we forgert, how we perceive the worl around us... Learning about the brain involves many subject matters and interests. One need to know the principles of physics, biology and chenistry, which depicts the physiological basis for the function of the brain. But apart from that, a real brain scientist needs also to understand a thing or two in other relevant subjects, such as mathematics, computer science and engineering, psychology which connects with behavioral aspects, linguistics that relates to the aquisition and the understanding of language, medicine, and event philosophy. Indeed, science researchers are true Renessance men and women! 

In this new project, students learn about the brain from several aspects: neuroanatomy, the motoric system, memory and learning abilities, etc.. The main focus is the sensoric system, and specifically the sense of sight. The students learn about the structure and charachteristics of the eye and the way our nervous system enables us to see. Special care is given to illusions and what they teach us about our brain. The teaching materials are based on the neoroscience programme which was developed by ORT Israel R&D Centre.
