The purpose of this project is empower engagement locally and create and raise awareness for the students about earthquakes by using basic seismometers. We will provide them to study with collaboration in order to make them aware of what is going on if an earthquake happens in the local. In the other hand, they will inform their families about our studies by details. When we reach our purpose, we will take the next step and start to creating awareness in the local by spreading.
Feel
Students know that we all live in a moving place. They witnessed to earthquakes. If we have a look at the history of earthquakes around our country, they will start talking about what they have lived even about it's ongoing effects in their living space.

1st step:
Let's create a brain storm with this kind of questions
Would you want to estimate the earthquake before it happens?
What would you do if you were estimated of earthquake before it happens?
Can we alert people before a big earthquake occurs?
2nd step:
Let's introduce them with the earthquake waves by using earthquake browser.

3rd step:
Let's ask questions;
What would you do if we had a chance to measure the intensity and show like this map?
Let's introduce our students with the basic sismometer TC1 and demonstrate how it works by jumping around to create movement and waves on the software of TC1.

When the students see the waves, we continue with identifying a wave.

4th step:
Let's ask them new questions

How could you use this to make people aware around you?

2nd step:
We start to collecting data with the sismometer. By the way we inform them about our partners to work with and importance of collaboration on this work. We compare the data with the other partners' measurement by the triangulation method.
