This project is about discovering the plants that exist in the Forest of the isalnd we live in.
Salamina is an island located very near to the capital of Greece, Athens
It is just 15 minutes on the boat from the nearest port , Perama.
Childern and teachers from The School of Children with disabilities of Salamina decided to visit their forest in order to discover and feel , imagine , create and at the end sharing their experience within
the comminuty , locally and remotely
Feel
Children started their journey t the forest feeling the air and he sun coming down through the leaves and they felt the air whispering throug the leaves and the air cuddling their faces
Imagine
They imagine the forest's life: the birds flying from tree to tree , the small animals run to hide in their nests...
Create
Collecting the leaves and material from the plants in order to make my own book of plants
