In this project, you will use the methodology of design thinking and our maker space to develop sustainable farming solutions for our rural community.
•Together with your colleagues, you should identify key challenges being faced by our community, imagine innovative solutions and prototype a few of the chosen ideas using our maker space tools and materials.
•Discuss these ideas with members of our community, enrich them with stakeholders' suggestions and finally share your research and ideas with everyone.Rural Area

Let’s start our project by better understanding what design thinking is and how it can be used to solve our real-world problems. We will first understand what sustainable farming is and why it is important.

Next, you should investigate if your community is aware of the importance of sustainable farming and if they would be willing to contribute to your project.  Make sure you involve all relevant stakeholders in the process.

Your region might be affected to limited access to water, soil degradation, pest management, and lack of crop diversity. Using the design thinking process, they generated a wide range of ideas for sustainable farming solutions, such as rainwater harvesting systems, composting toilets, natural pest management methods, and seed banks for crop diversity.
