ΓΕΛ ΤΖΕΡΜΙΑΔΩΝ - Lyceum of Tzermiadon

Το Γενικό Λύκειο Τζερμιάδων βρίσκεται στο Οροπέδιο Λασιθίου. Λειτουργεί από το 1901 με ένα μικρό διάλειμμα το 1939-1943. Τα τελευταία χρόνια στο σχολείο υπάρχει Θεωρητική και Τεχνολογική Κατεύθυνση (ενίοτε και Θετική Κατεύθυνση).  Η ιστοσελίδα του σχολείου μας είναι: http://1lyk-tzerm.las.sch.gr/ . Στο σχολείο μας κάθε χρόνο πραγματοποιούμε πολλές δράσεις. Έχουμε εγκαταστήσει σεισμογράφο του qcn project (Stanford University). Επίσης έχουμε κατασκευάσει το hydrobot (κιτ το οποίο παρέχεται από το Ίδρυμα Ευγενίδου και το ΜΙΤ).

Our school, Lyceum of Tzermiadon, is located at the mountains of Lassithi Plateau in the island of Crete in Greece. Due to this isolation (distance from the centre of the island, Heraklion and any other big city) the school is most significant to the education of students and general to the development of the local society. It requires a special approach to the education of students within and outside the school, that motivates learning, but also improves the risk of early school leaving.
