Apoplous Open Education Report, June 2005

A newsletter published by Apoplous.org during a 3-year research study of thin clients in primary education (Cyprus). Between 2005 - 2008, a one to one ratio was achieved in a primary school in Cyprus, using thin clients and open source software to assess. In this issue, we deal with the integration of Learning Management Systems in primary education (blended learning approach) and the use of open source software to lower the total cost of ownership of technology in education and reduce piracy.
