Apoplous Open Education Report, July 2005

A newsletter published by Apoplous.org during a 3-year research study of thin clients in primary education (Cyprus). Between 2005 - 2008, a one to one ratio was achieved in a primary school in Cyprus, using thin clients and open source software to assess. In this issue we examine the implementation of open source software in primary education (Cyprus) as part of the research project funded by the Cyprus government (Research Promotion Foundation), video games in education and the use of learning management systems for training inservice teachers.
