Γενικό Λύκειο Σαμοθράκης-High School of Samothraki

Η Σαμοθράκη είναι ένα μικρό νησί στο Βορειοανατολικό τμήμα του Αιγαίου. Αποτελεί μια μικρή κουκίδα στο χάρτη με 2500 περίπου κατοίκους, με μεγάλη όμως ιστορία και πολιτισμό. Με την πανέμορφη φύση της και τις μοναδικές παραλίες, παρέχει ένα ιδανικό περιβάλλον για εξωσχολικές δραστηριότητες. Είναι το νησί της "Νίκης της Σαμοθράκης" με το πανέμορφο αγάλμα που βρίσκεται στο Λούβρο και των Καβειριων μυστηρίων
Το Γενικό Ενιαίο Λύκειο Σαμοθράκης συστεγάζεται σε ένα κτίριο με το Γυμνάσιο και το απόγευμα με το Σχολείο δεύτερης ευκαιρίας.  Έχει 46 μαθητές και 11 εκπαιδευτικούς. Οι επιδόσεις των μαθητών είναι πολύ καλές αφού οι μισοί κάθε χρόνο εισαγονται σε πανεπιστημιακές σχολές. Το σχολείο μας εξοπλίστηκε πλήρως τεχνολογικά με το πρόγραμμα "Learning from the Extremes" και απέκτησε τηλεσκόπιο για επισκόπηση των πλανητών. Η εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία του σχολείου έχει ενισχύεται με διάφορα προγράμματα εκπαίδευσης. Οι μαθητές έχουν πρόσβαση σε σύγχρονο εξοπλισμό, πειραματικά εργαστήρια και διαδραστικά μαθήματα. Οι εκπαιδευτικοί του σχολείου έχοντας άρτιες σχέσεις με τους μαθητές, ενθαρρύνουν τη δημιουργικότητα και τη συμμετοχή των μαθητών σε διάφορες εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες. Το σχολείο προάγει τη διαπολιτισμική ανταλλαγή, συνεργαζόμενο με άλλα εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα τόσο εντός όσο και εκτός του νησιού. Αυτή η ανοικτή προσέγγιση ενισχύει την κατανόηση των πολιτιστικών ποικιλιών και προωθεί τη διαπολιτισμική αλληλοκατανόηση.

Samothrace is a small island in the northeastern part of the Aegean Sea. It constitutes a tiny dot on the map with approximately 2,500 residents, yet it boasts a rich history and culture. With its breathtaking nature and unique beaches, it provides an ideal environment for extracurricular activities. It is the island of the "Victory of Samothrace," featuring the beautiful statue housed in the Louvre, and the mysteries of the Kabeiroi.

The General High School of Samothrace is housed in a building alongside the Gymnasium, and in the afternoon, it accommodates the Second Chance School. It has 46 students and 11 educators. The students' performance is excellent, with half of them entering university every year. Our school has been fully equipped technologically through the "Learning from the Extremes" program and has acquired a telescope for planetary observation. The educational process is enhanced with various programs, providing students with access to modern equipment, experimental laboratories, and interactive lessons. The educators, fostering strong relationships with the students, encourage creativity and participation in various educational activities. Finally,  it is of utmost importance that the school promotes intercultural exchange of ideas, collaborating with other educational institutions both on and off the island. This open approach strengthens the understanding of cultural diversity and promotes intercultural understanding.
