OSOS summer camp in Ireland for 60 teachers and children

OSOS summer camp in Ireland for 60 teachers and children

The OSOS project in Ireland is hosting a summer camp on June 12th for an Irish primary School, Soil Damian, and their partners in an Erasmus Project with 5 other countries (Sweden, Turkey, Latvia, Romania and Italy).

About 60 teachers and children (aged 11-15) from across these 6 countries will attend CASTEL at Dublin City University (our OSOS Irish partner) to learn about open schooling, responsible school innovation and STEM projects as a vehicle for local change in the framework of OSOS. In addition, OSOS best practices will be demonstrated by Irish OSOS champion teachers on the Water Footprint, Junior Pollinator and Greener Greens student projects.

About the STEAM Embassies Erasmus+ project: “We are creating STEAM Embassies in the European School Network”: This project began in October and involves both teacher and student exchanges to share good practice in the area of STEAM education. There are 6 countries involved Sweden, Turkey, Ireland, Latvia, Romania and Italy. https://steamembassies.blogspot.com/
