In this activity, students will observe the reflection and refraction of light, individually and in groups.
The aim of the lesson plan is to firstly see what the students already understand about light, its properties and paying special attention to the difference between reflection and refraction as they are the most commonly mixed up. The students will be asked to perform a series of investigations to figure out the differences between refraction and refraction. A discussion will follow in order to more formally define the terms and the differences.
