It is more and more important for all people to learn about sustainability and the role of personal responsibility of each one us on the issue. One area with severe consequences on long-term sustainability of the planet, is the world of fashion manufacturing. On the other hand undoubtedly, young people have a passion for fashion. With this project students will explore the fashion industry, get to know its impact on environment, will design and produce clothing items from used plastic bags and organize a fashion show in order to excite the audience about the possibilities of turning worthless plastic bags into art garments. The project run in N. Olvio Junior high school (14-15 years old students) during 2013-2014 school year.
