This educational scenario intends to enhance the concept of the perceptual image of an urban area. Therefore, it aims to develop the cognition of spatial elements of an urban fabric and the spatial translation of the city image which citizens and planners perceive. In order to achieve this, we include a presentation of relevant maps, images and recommended references. We also invite the target audience to create a mental map of the metropolitan area of Athens.
