Backround:
Lesson plan is based on matherials of teacher handbook „Baltic environment, food and health: from habits to awarness“ compiled by me and this is a part of the project „FOODWEB“ –http://foodweb.ut.ee
The purpose of the assignment is to explain the life cycle and environmental impact of food on both the natural and social environment.
The students have to understand connections between food quality, human health and environmental impact. Awareness helps to choose meals wich have the lowest environmental impact and the good quality.
