Recycling is a process whose aim is to reuse objects and transform them into raw material to create a new product. This process ensures the reduction of waste on our planet and decreases the use of natural resources, which are often not renewable.
In our school the importance of recycling is demonstrated in several activities:
- packaging and paper are recycled by students, teachers and staff;
- “Green Brigades”, a group that every week is responsible for picking up/monitoring the trash thrown onto the ground;
- “Eco Fashion Show”, a fashion show at the end of the school year where students wear recycled clothes.
