This Educational pathway includes labwork (extraction of kiwi DNA) and visualizations and animations on the structure and replication of DNA, the transcription into RNA and translation to proteins. It then connects to "the bigger picture" by a simplified introduction on cloning and genetic testing. To conclude, based on this knowledge the ethical aspects of genetic testing are presented in the form of a role play.
